Guest guest
Sandy, yes I think there are several of us that have that same lesion. Can't remember what side I had it on just to long ago. I'll ask the neugolist the next time I see him. There is a common thread that we all have we'll just have to wait and see if they find it. I feel as tho that leasion accured when I fainted in the grocery store before anything other signs of PLS ever showen up. I went to the doctor for it and he did an EKG and it showed nothing wrong. He passed it off as a common faint. I never heard that one before. I got another doctor after that....................Flora
Guest guest
Wow Debbie, Sounds like a real sense of hopelessness really felt by you seeped into your dreams. Though it's not uncommon to feel this way in the beginning. Reality is my friend, that you will make it no matter what! Just believe and stay positive, it's going to be o.k. After awhile you will see that you will cope better. Take care. God Bless Yolanda Sandy You were talking about the snow.. I wanted to share a dream that I had a few years ago. It felt so real!!! The dream was.... It was snowing real bad out. My husband, 2 sons, and I were running from something in the snow. The snow was up to almost our knees. My family was ahead of me and I was crying because I couldn't lift my legs up high enough to get through the snow. I can still see them running , and me crying and asking " why are they not waiting for me. They know I can't keep up? " That was the ending. Them running for their lives and me stuck in the snow because my legs got worn out and wouldn't lift up through the snow. It felt so real when I woke up I just cried because I know that if this really did happen... I would not be able to run through the heavy snow . Guest guest
Sue Me, Thank you, I made an appointment with our lawyer for this, he is also a judge so hopefully he can atleast ansewer some questions. I would be happy if all it did was to help others in need not to have to go through the same thing I did. Sandy Re: Sandy Go for it Sandy--Sue them--you could use the money and they evidently don't need the money...you know that's what I would do anymore to these idiots. I am not one to believe in suing over the littlest things but this could wake them up. Don't know what the cost of a lawyer would be but at least get the Disabliities Act and read it through. Of course, with everything going on in our lives, we don't need this stress, but maybe this company should have to go through some stress and hit them where it hurts--in the pocketbook! Guest guest
Here are some tried (and true??)...so feel free to adopt one : ) You can have blonde moments. Of course if you're not a blonde (and I'm not) you can always tell people you are a " closet blonde " . You can explain you are vying (did I spell that right?) for the position of Senior Space Cadet OR (depending on your age) you can have a senior moment. Then again, I suppose you could claim yourself a junior in senior moment training : ) - Jen (A closet blonde with peroxide moments...) > During chemo I used the chemo brain excuse when I forgot stuff. > Then > I'm using the bald headed excuse until my hair completely wakes. > > Then what do I use?? > > Sandy - Wisconsin >
