Guest guest
Hi , My name is Sue. I called my accountant and yes, indeed, this surgery is tax deductable. Sue
Guest guest
Hi if you have to go private pay Most of it would be deductible if you went long form and itemized your medical if you had enough to itemize. Also you mileage and probably the motel/hotel you stay in would qualify too. It would depend on high a salary you made whether you could deduct it. It is worth a try Dee in MO

Guest guest
Kathy, thanks so much for keeping us updated on your mom. I worry about her so. I hope you are doing well and taking care of yourself. Please tell Doris hello for me and give her a big hug and kiss. Tell her to eat all the right things and don't be stubborn. We miss her. We don' t want coming after her with her pointy shoes or Heidi with her pain reliever. That ought to make her better.LOL Keep posting, I love to hear from you. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers Love

Guest guest
Sue, My doctor is here in Sumter right now and it is Cunningham. He trained at MUSC and hopefully he will be as good as those guys. If you know anything about the drs. in Sumter you know I don't trust them to much. Especially the hospital here. Dr. Hawes is real good. I like him. I don't think I have had to much with Cunningham. I might have seen him once or twice. I hope your son is all right and know that he is in my prayers. If you want to talk just email me privately. hello I think I read that you are new and live in Sumter. I live in Columbia and my 23 year old son goes to Dr. Cunningham at MUSC. Cunningham is leaving at the end of the summer for Phoenix so he has told me to ask for Cotton or Hawes when he leaves. I mostly read posts. My son has cerebral palsy and has spent his life in a wheelchair and cannot care for himself. He had never been sick until he had three attacks last summer and was diagnosed with pancreas divisum. We thought we had licked this thing last fall after the ercp but he had another bad three week bout in mid April and I found this group.I wanted information and I wanted to ensure myself that the drs. in ton were good. It has really helped to read the posts. Although I cannot contribute much and no one else is in my same situation. We have finally accepted this demon will probably reoccur and I am trying to make sure I ask the right questions next go round. My son is facing other surgeries to try to
Guest guest
Thanks . I am trying to read up on pancreatitis but our next hurtle is surgery on my sons hip. He has a bed sore the size of a baseball that he got last June at Richland Memorial. Part of the bone will have to be removed and a flap will have to be done. He has not been able to sit upright in a year which in itself causes other problems. We go for another evaluation on the hip on the 8th.My son is pain free in between the bouts of pancreatitis so we are lucky in that respect.Good luck with the new doctor in Sumter.
