Gee, I've taken my Vitamin E with calcium and all my other vitamins,

including a multivitamin with minerals for about 15 years. No problems ... I do

eat

breakfast right away but I've never heard any of them interfere with any

others. Educate me, please, if I'm wrong. :)

Calcium may irritate a sensitive stomach. It also will slow the absorbtion

of some medications but I don't remember any details. Sorry

Try researching Calcium on the internet, maybe you can find out.

This part is true, but only if it's a capsule of Vitamin E (the kind you

could pierce with a needle and squeeze the contents out). There is also a form

called " dry Vitamin E " which does not have to be taken with fat ... it's also

harder to find and most costly. FYI.

Hi Kathleen,

apologies to anyone else who has responded to this as I'm doing my usual

trick of not reading my email in order!

Just wanted to clarify incase it hadnt been done that although initial tests

showed that Vit E should be taken after a meal or with or after fatty foods,

when the programme ran their own tests with off the shelf Vitamin E

preparations, it made no difference in absorption whether it was taken with

fatty

food or not... (Oh the discrepancies of research statistics!)

Hi everyone. I need some lecturing and advice about taking my vitamin

supplements. Since I started my new job, I have been really bad about taking my

vitamin supplements. I have been so extremely busy that half the time I lose

track of time and don't even realize it is lunch time or the end of the work

day. Which also means that I am missing my protein shakes between meals. I

have noticed some hair loss, which is why I reluctantly spent much money on

ready made protein drinks. But, how do I remember to take a break from the

chaos and drink my protein and take my vitamins? What is going to happen to me

if I don't take my supplements regularly? I have been feeling great and I

haven't been taking them regularly for almost 2 weeks now. I could really use

some advice.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Maybe some sort of alarm to remind you? I know my cell phone has an

alarm I can set for things like that. Do you have your vitamins out

visible? That would help remind you as well. You're just going to have

to slow down & take the time! You've already noticed the hair loss.

You don't want it to get worse do you? :-) I'm lucky I get a 15 min

break in the morning & afternoon at work. Those are going to be my

protein shake times.

Hi Racheal,

Is there a way you can set an alarm to go off as a reminder? It is vital that

you take your vitaminds . It helps to keep your body functioning right.

We do not gain all of our nutrients from our food and the vitamins give us what

we are missing. Protein is important to the weight loss and helping with the

hair loss. Unfortunately, the hair loss is going to happen. I have been dealing

with the hair loss for 3 months now. My nurse told me from month 3-6 mo. I will

experience it, around month 6, it will start to come back. It has slowed down a

lot now.. so it looks like it will start coming back now. Take care of yourself

. It is exstremely vital at this time.

Best Wishes,

Shauna
