Guest guest
Sandy T. Although I hate to hear that the diagnosis is official, at least you are already one step ahead and are finding out the info all about it, and joined this group. You should talk to your doctor though, and inform him that with some aggressive treatments, you might be able to go into remission if you aren't a year yet. Between blocks and Physical/Occupational Therapies, the chances of keeping it from spreading, or going into remission is the best before a year is over from the time the injury occurred. So, mention that and see what he says. A real good friend of mine who is also here in this group, went and had a 5 day epidural done, along with aggressive PT......and she is actually walking again (used to have to use a scooter most of the time, now uses a cane instead), she is driving again...... Actually enjoying life again! And, she's had RSD for 4 years now..... So, it can happen. Good luck, and just remember, we are here for you whether you need info or just to vent. Guest guest
Apparently we have a policy that we aren't allowed to record anything - which I truly did'nt know. They are doing an investigation and will let me know if they are terminating me this week. I took it took my laywers.Anyway, just wanted to update everyone. I'm here to stay with you guys for support and encouragement. It's going to be a long road ahead. Thanks to each and every one of you who have welcomed me!Sandy T. Sandy T. I also felt the feelings of being relieved when I had proof that something was wrong and afraid when they name it RSD. I can't believe some of these employers out there think they can get away with. I am sure you lawyer is just drooling. The sweating is normal for the effected area. It is going to be a long road ahead, that's why this group is so good to be in, some have been on this road a long time and can offer some great advice. take care and I hope you are having a low pain day, Lin
Guest guest
Thank you Lin! My lawyers are drooling indeed. It is a very long story but my employer NEVER once talked with me about reasonable accommodations. They have been trying to boot me out since I came back from leave. My lawyer said I was just trying to help my self with the recording thing since they wouldn't help me (which is seriously the truth!) I am very sad about the RSD but so happy you are all here Sandy T. -- Re: Hi Guys Apparently we have a policy that we aren't allowed to record anything - which I truly did'nt know.
