Hi Marti. Yes, my husband and I filed bankruptcy five years ago because of

lack of income and outstanding medical bills. We have to wait another 2

years until we get some kind of credit back, but it looks like we may have to

file for bankruptcy again. If you have any questions, please feel free to

e-mail me. I'm a legal assistant and can pretty much answer alot of legal

questions, or at least get you some answers.

Hi Amy. It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one going through all of

this b.s., not that I want anyone else to though. I've had to rely on my

father financially alot these past years, especially when I'm not working.

I've worked sporadically over the last 4 years. Although my husband works

(well, not at the moment), it still isn't enough to cover the co-pays and

outstanding medical bills. I wind up throwing most of them out until they

leave me alone. Some of the medical instititutions are very persistent

however.

As far as my ERCP goes, I asked the doctor yesterday if I was going to stay

in the hospital for awhile. He just said be prepared to. Every time I've

had this procedure, my hospital stay was usually 14 days. The pain is

unbearable and my enzymes go through the roof. I'm not looking for to

tomorrow at all.

Amy, I also had sphincter of oddi dysfunction too and they cut the muscle. I

was pain free for only a couple of months, then got another acute attack.

I've had my bile duct reconstructed because of stones....the docs said that

would work...no way - I still have CP.

Hi . Thanks for your support. I'm not too worried about my husband

getting another job, because he's a carpenter. I've already sent out his

resume to several companies. We are also going to look into possibly some

legal action against his company.
