Just saw this this AM. Hope you're feeling better today.

Are you still trying to get pregnant, or did you put that on hold? I forget.

You aren't on any extra hormones or anything are you? What about where you are in your cycle?

I'm not trying to lay the blame completely on hormones, but I know that my mood swings and depression level were way worse before my hysterectomy.

Kat,

That's exactly what I did - took Xanax & Ambien & went to bed;

decided escape was my best option last night. How are you this

morning? Did sleep help?

we arnt on any birthcontrol meds, but we arnt on any fertility meds, i dont have normal periods without ither one, so i think i had a period about 2 or 3 months ago, and havent had one since.

yes im on medication, the only medication im on is celexia, and im on 60mg, the highest does,. i take some t3's for pain, but dont have many left and my old dr wouldent prescribe me any more, and im on a non adictive sleeping pill that i take every so often when i get relay depressed or cant sleep.

im just doing realy bad right now. i dont know if its the weither or if its just me.

im also sick with some nose thing, my sinuses are all bloody..... (how nice!) and every time i take a nose spray decongestent it hurts like a mofo.....

other then that, i think im going to spend the day in bed again...

If you are having blood from your sinuses, don't use a nose spray decongestant. Either take something like a benadryl, or irrigate your sinuses with a mild salt water solution (this is burny, but it heals the sinuses). A nose spray decongestant isn't that great a thing, it dries out your sinuses AND irritates the area AND is very addictive due to a rebound effect that you get--you use it, it wears off and your mucous membranes fill with the blood flow, giving you a feeling of congestion so you use it again, and more frequently as time goes on.

If you haven't had a period in 2-3 months, your hormones are out of whack, which I'm sure you already know. That wouldn't necessarily be the reason you are feeling like you do, but it sure won't help.

Have a nice nap, take a long soak in the tub first.

We're here for you.

hugs,

Kathy

i have pcos too. the pill helped get my periods regular, but you could try a megadose of vitamin b complex along with a regular, recommeded dose of zinc and folic acid--if you can take these things.....ask your doctor, or call their nurse and find out if it is okay....
