Happy Birthday . You are obviously a much loved and beautiful little boy!

's birthday

Hi all, Just wanted to announce that it is my little wonder's 3rd birthday today!!! We celebrated Sunday night. He seemed to know it was his "special day." He loved all of his presents. I managed to share in the joy and not focus on the fact that most of the toys were geared toward infants. ('s favorite toys are those where he pushes buttons, hears music and "dances"). In truth, 's developmental level has changed minimally since his 2nd birthday. But, he has had a dramatically positive affect on our family. Disabled children have much to contribute!

With respect to recent topics on the board, I think it is normal for people to be at different "places" on the journey of having a chronically ill/disabled child. Also, there are as many different parenting styles as there are parents in the Lord knows, I have been at most of the places including major depression, bitterness, and anger. I hope that we all can continue to be supportive of each other. We need each other!

Lori and (complex I and IV, 3 today!) Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
