Guest guest
Hey Mandy, Welcome to the losing side!!!!! Glad to hear that your surgery went well and I wish you a speedy recovery. ~H. It was infected and full of pus. My surgeon was amazing and took care of it all at once. He couldn't understand how it never hurt me in the past. They gave me a perscript for Percoset which I'm taking religiously for the time being. I took my 1st shower today. All I can say is be sure to have someone that loves you around. (My Mom has been wiping my behind. She says it's like my rebirth. lol) I would also suggest a recliner. Those hospital beds are so uncomfortable until you get home and try to get into your own bed. It's tough. Very tough. Right now I would give an arm for a recliner. Walking is now almost impossible due to show and ice. I'm circling the house. It's going to have to do for now. Anyone hear from my December 2 surgery buddies? Sorry for the cross post just wanted to make sure everyone got this. ~Mandy Post Op w/ Gallbladder Removal December 2, 2003 333/?/175 Dr. Herron Mercy Medical Center, NY

Guest guest
I ate soups, the best for me was spilt pea and ham. Lots of protein, sugar free pudding and jello. Cottage cheese also and then oatmeal.
Guest guest
I'm so bummed that I wasn't able to be there! I'm sure that it was a blast!' Jane I'm home! and I had the BEST time visiting Dawn, Kathy and Kayly and the boys!!! We started out at Dawn's on Saturday night with a cookout (and hamburgers that were to die for ... but don't ask for her recipe LOL) by the pool and the fireplace (gorgeous!!!) Then went back to Orlando with Kathy and Kayly and Ethan and Holden (who has the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen!) and they went to Disney on Sunday. loved it! Dawn and I set out to go shopping on Sunday (watch out secret pals!) and attached is a picture of when she saw her car Monday morning. Dawn backed into it LOL loaded things into the car twice before she ever saw the damage to the car. How's that for alert? And I was going to sleep on the way home? Nah! Anyway, we made good time getting home. It rained most of the way and Ronnie called us just as we got to Valdosta and they had a lot of construction going on. He called an hour later and we had gone 4 miles! He told us which exit to take and we took the scenic route the rest of the way, on the back roads. Dawn, we didn't get home until 6 pm!!!! Unreal! They had I-75 going on one lane only and then there were wrecks everywhere! Rain and construction and south GA drivers. Hmmmmmmm So I'm home, just finished with this morning's therapy and off to BED!!! Although Dawn's guest bed was the most comfortable bed I've been on in a long time! Dawn.... if you ever wanna get rid of it..................... More pics to follow in the next email. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll catch up later. Pam, did everyone behave? Guest guest
Where was the damage to the car? I couldn't tell from the pics. I loved the look on 's face. Guest guest
It was the rear quarter panel on the driver's side. We just got the estimates yesterday and today.... I was shocked! They can't "fix it" because the metal is stretched (it sounded like crap to me but they all said the same thing) and where the dents are, there's a crease in the body of the car so putty won't hold. I think the car makers are in cahoots with the body shops and that's why they have the designs they do, with all the grooves and creases. It has to be replaced. Now I know why damn cars cost so much!! RE: I'm home! Where was the damage to the car? I couldn't tell from the pics. I loved the look on 's face. Tell her that's what you pay insurance for! Guest guest
I second Christy on the visit. It was wonderful to meet everyone. Dawn's house is gorgeous, as is the pool area and fireplace. is a great kid, very pretty and I'm so glead she had a good time. Unfortunately since I was no mail and Yahoo doesn't save pics I can't see the look on 's face when she saw her car. Dawn reminded us of Jody --she's so pretty, and very tiny. Christy looks beautiful, just like her pics. I hope some day everyone gets up our way so we can return the hospitality. Kathy > and I had the BEST time visiting Dawn, Kathy and Kayly and the boys!!! Guest guest
Shell, welcome home! It sounds like your wedding was magical and I’m glad to hear Ivan wasn’t too much of a nuisance on your honeymoon! Nice to have you back – we can’t wait to see some pics! I'm Home! Hello everyone! (Shell waving madly)I'm so happy to be home. Well and I are home! We had a wonderful wedding and and even better Honeymoon! Mexico was so beautiful, but very very hot and sticky. We had lots of rain due to Ivan showing up to join us on our honeymoon (so nice of him) No really we were not in any danger just lots of rain and wind, but it did not last long. We are told our wedding was very beautiful (smile) and I can hardly remember the day. It blew by so fast! There were so many people and we barely had time to talk to each person for two minuts it seems. I do remember as I started to walk down the isle and I saw all those faces of the people who love me and standing up there waiting for me it was the best feeling I have ever had in my life. Well we got home late last night and have been runing around all day. Changing my name was a full days work! I have had no time to read the posts from the last 15 days and i'm sure the way you all post there must be at least a thousand of them. I would however like to give a huge welcome to all the new members.I see we have had many join while I was off getting married. I'm so glad you found us and hope we can help you. I'm sure by now you all have been welcomed and made to feel right at home, thats just how this group is. I am going to try and find a wedding picture to post,I don't have many at this point. The best ones are soon to come. I do have one that is just sweet. It of me and and you will see in his face he is filled with emotion. When his father gave a toast he gave us a gift. It was a Gift from s grandparents who are no longer living. It was a sign his grandfather had made over 50 years ago that hung at the cabin they owned in Oregon. That cabin was a Magical place for and when his father sold the place last year it was a very sad moment for ,so to open this gift and see this sign he got all teary eyed. It was a beautiful moment at our wedding. I missed you all so very much and hope you have all been well and life is treating you good.
