WHAT'S incredimail?

Hello everyone! Hope this morning finds you all well.

I am feeling pretty damn good right now. Surprisingly since I am still not sleeping well....but a good portion of the pain from the incisions is gone at the moment. I know from the past mistake of Tuesday not to over do it today though. I thought all was great on Tuesday...did way too much and felt it big time Tuesday night and all day yesterday. I will take things much slower today. But can't help feeling like a little ray of sunshine today.

I believe that I have finally gotten through all the hassles I was having with the emails...so today I think that I will do a little digging and find me some new backgrounds. For those of you who use Incredimail, you know what I am referring to. I used to use Incredimail some time ago and had a great array of backgrounds. Pretty much everything you could think of for any occasion. Just a shame that more people don't use Incredimail....it can be a lot of fun!

That's it for me...for now!

Hi Amy! Fibro is a 'take it one day at a time' kind of thing. For me,

one day I might feel pretty good, but the next feel like I was hit by a

truck.

You are not alone! Welcome aboard,

Melody in TX

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

That's a good topic - the denial. When Mom first told me she thought

sister and I both had fibromyalgia, I looked at the links she sent me.

I had every symptom! And I just sobbed as I read the websites because

the thing that stood out to me the most was 'there is no cure.' So of

course I said " No Mom, I don't have THAT, what were you thinking? "

I later went through a period where I left all the fibro support groups

I had recently joined. Mostly because my level of suffering was so much

less than what most deal with on a daily basis, it convinced me that I

wasn't that bad off. Then I actually went into a mini remission of

sorts, the year I quit smoking, so was just convinced it went away. But

no, it just took a little break because of the benefits quitting smoking

did for my body. It's here, it's not going anywhere, and I've learned

to accept that this is just my 'thing' and I'll do my best to manage

whatever comes my way on a daily basis. I'm not in denial anymore, but

I don't admit this has me. I don't say I HAVE fibro I say I deal with

fibro. I believe thoughts are things and I don't attach any 'illness'

to me as a way to define me. It is something I deal with, and by using

those terms it has helped me personally learn to cope.

But, yeah, sometimes there is still denial. I refuse to give in to this

thing and I fight the good fight every day.

Several years ago the doc gave me steroids for a horrible sinus

infection that just wouldn't quit. Well I must say, during those

steroid pills, I felt NO PAIN for the first time in nearly ten years. I

don't like how steroids weaken the immune system, but I did enjoy that

pain free time. :)
