Guest guest
ME TOO! It isn't just talking with me, I can't do any two things at the same time. Just this morning my wife said " Look at this! " . Unfortunately I did, and let go of the cigarette in my hand (which burned a spot in the new carpet of course). I can't walk and carry things, or cough, or sneeze (that usually causes my legs to buckle). I guess we learn to do things by concentrating on that task. But when distracted by another thought or task...whoops! Anyway, glad to know its not just me. Kirk > Hello everyone! > > I just thought I would let you all, especially Sue Me, know about my recent session(s) with my personal trainer. Although I know some of you (I think you know who I mean) are able to walk as good as you can weather you are talking or not, I'm not one of those people. Today I was extra " chatty " when I was with my personal trainer, and I found/he pointed out that when I talk I tend to misstep or not lift the weights like I should. It is amazing the difference it makes when I " shut up " (my words not his) and do the walking, balancing, or weight lifting activity. The personal trainer is very " nice " and just tells me that I would do much better if I focus on what I'm doing and not talk.....oh well...I think you all get my point...Any comments? > > Cheryl (HSP in Maine) > >
Guest guest
My favorite one is when I just take a drink and my wife goes " Look at that " say on the TV, and of course I look up and spend the next 2 minutes choking... Sometimes I think she does it on purpose... dale Re: Talking while walking > > > ME TOO!
Guest guest
My biggest problem is when someone says look at this when I'm walking and I turn to look and down I go. Some day, I hope, I will learn!
