ME TOO!

It isn't just talking with me, I can't do any two things at the same

time. Just this morning my wife said " Look at this! " . Unfortunately

I did, and let go of the cigarette in my hand (which burned a spot in

the new carpet of course). I can't walk and carry things, or cough,

or sneeze (that usually causes my legs to buckle). I guess we learn

to do things by concentrating on that task. But when distracted by

another thought or task...whoops!

Anyway, glad to know its not just me.

my recent session(s) with my personal trainer. Although I know some

of you (I think you know who I mean) are able to walk as good as you

can weather you are talking or not, I'm not one of those people.

Today I was extra " chatty " when I was with my personal trainer, and I

found/he pointed out that when I talk I tend to misstep or not lift

the weights like I should. It is amazing the difference it makes

when I " shut up " (my words not his) and do the walking, balancing, or

weight lifting activity. The personal trainer is very " nice " and

just tells me that I would do much better if I focus on what I'm

doing and not talk.....oh well...I think you all get my point...Any

comments?

My favorite one is when I just take a drink and my wife goes " Look at that "

say on the TV, and of course I look up and spend the next 2 minutes

choking...

Sometimes I think she does it on purpose...

My biggest problem is when someone says look at this when I'm walking and I turn

to look and down I go. Some day, I hope, I will learn! Susieq in Calif
