Guest guest
You got that right Laurel, That happened to me a couple of times and now I am like you...delete or tell them off and then delete LOL Really, we can't take things personally--this group is to uplift each other, not to put each other down! We musn't let little things get to us because we already have enough to deal with. If there is a time you feel personally attacked, then please notify the list owner, and they can talk to the person and let them know that that won't be tolerated. For instance, the jerk who put that post on just a short while ago, THEY WERE OBLITERATED!! Have a wonderful day! Sue Me we can't wear our hearts on our sleeves. Just don't take things personally. I did choose to not post to this group for several months after someone " blasted " me. Now, if I disagree with someone's point of view, or someone disagrees with mine, it's just no big deal! I use my Delete button a lot! > >For the most part, I really appreciate everyone's opinions & ideas, and discard what I can't use, or am not interested in. > >It's been awhile since I said this so.......... Guest guest
Sometimes I write stuff and people comment on the insight. Sometimes I write stuff and people are upset by it. Guess what? I intend to do neither when I write. While I appreciate any compliments that might be directed my way, I don't take them any more seriously than I do people who might get upset by my words. Before folks go running off to a list manager to complain about an " attack, " perhaps they should examine the real evidence of an " attack, " not just feelings of persecution. There are times when it is certainly appropriate to complain, then there are other times when it is just better to hit the delete button. Besides, the Gimp With Attitude (GWA) in my sig should give some folks a clue as far as I am concerned. > >You got that right Laurel, > >That happened to me a couple of times and now I am like you...delete >or tell them off and then delete LOL > >Really, we can't take things personally--this group is to uplift >each other, not to put each other down!
