Guest guest
Lyle, This is exactly the way I am. I choke on the stuff and can't hardly breathe until I can cough it up. Sorry everyone, hope no one is eating dinner and reading mail. How was it determined that you needed the valve/shunt for your lung? Do you have a hard time coughing up anything sometimes? I mean, I feel it there, but sometimes I have to cough and cough before I can get anything up. Sorry again everyone for the gross conversation here. But it really is important to me. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Art, In your message you mention 120. Is that 120 liters/min like my meter. When I have a cold and my readings get down to 120 and below I have difficulty walking on the level for more than a minute and one flight of stairs leaves me gasping for breath. Do you have similar experiences. At 170 which is my current level I can walk slowly continuously. If I try to keep up with my wife by walking fast I still run out of air. If some congestion clogs the bronchial tubes on the left side I will suddenly be gasping for breath even when at rest until I cough up the congestion.
