It's been hanging in a closet for ummmm 22 years LOL Just in the garment-bag-like thing it originally came it! I never even had it cleaned and it's held up really well LOL I kept "planning" to have it cleaned and preserved but I never got around to it LOL

I went to a cell phone place Friday (having Alltel troubles and planning to switch if anyone has any suggestions) but went to mosey around a bridal store next door while she waited for me. She ended up trying on a gorgeous dress that was about $600 and came home wanting to try mine on. Mine is candlelight and she wanted a white one but I think the price tag stunned her hehehe The girls used to try it on all the time when they were little (it fit her perfect when she was 12 LOL) so it wasn't such a shock when I saw her in it this time.

I have no earthly idea why I've kept it all these years. No normal (healthy) human could fit into it and it was certainly bad luck.

RE: scary stuff

LOL--I have all of my wedding gowns/dresses. Kayly got her own, she got married in a white suit/dress. Both of my gowns were bad luck. The white, long sundress and being married outside at home by Kayly--THAT was good luck.

tried on my old wedding dress tonight. ACK!

It needs heavy duty altering should she ever decide to use it. It's a 5 and she's an 11. She has lots of time to diet too! :)

Christy -- I heartily recommend Cingular for your cellphone situation.

As far as and the wedding dress is concerned -- I hope she

takes her time -- about another 5 or so years, but if she doesn't, I

say - you should be proud if she DOES want to wear it. It might NOT

be bad luck for her. Even so, $600 isn't bad for a wedding gown. I

read on the web -- did you post the photo in the Photo Album? If so,

where? If not, would you send it to me? I'd love to see it.

I have only this one and the previous one. The first one died in a

traffic accident (long story short: was being carried on the top of

the car and landed on the ground @ 55 mph), and the second was a

white/silver cocktail dress, which has disappeared. Can't wear any

of the previous ones, anyway, unless I lose about half of me.
