Guest guest
Remember when Doctors give you a certain time to live that it is in fact a " practice " of medicine...thank God they don't always get it right. My eye doctor told me I would be dead before diabetes effected my eyesight. I think that was a good thing, but then should I try to prove him wrong? I am new to this group and find that it almost has the feel of " family " . I am struggling with diet and exercise and am one step away from injections (on orals now). Noticed my BG dropped 50 points today because I cut the grass (probably the last time this season). It does seem to work...the more I work up a sweat the more the sugar drops. The worst thing is going back to bed after eating carbs...wow. Fred
Guest guest
Well, back when I was on only Meds... seemed like the lowest my Blood Sugars would ever drop is 250... When I ended up in the Emergency room and then hospital in September, and was put on Insuline... my sugar was 275 with taking my meds. Now that I am on Insuline, I have to watch for the Hypos, as I seem to have more of them at times instead of the highs now. And since getting another infection the other day, I have to sometimes force myself to eat at times, as I find myself not very hungry a lot. So if there are people here unsure of Insuline, and their Doctor thinks it might be best, I say go for it, as I over all feel a lot better... And as for excercise... when I go like to the Mall, etc. I need to usually grab a snack now while I'm out as my BG tends to drop quite a bit, and I feel the Lows. ~~TINA~~ -- Remember Remember when Doctors give you a certain time to live that it is in fact a " practice " of medicine...thank God they don't always get it right.
