I believe that is supposed to have a higher glycemic index than the long

cooking kind so I don't use it. It could have been the molasses but, as

he really doesn't care for oatmeal anyway, I guess we'll just stop

experimenting with it. Looks like I'm going to have a lot of oatmeal to

use up.

Hi Amber,

I cook it and mix berries in with it, and no other sweetener - its not how

I would really like to eat it, but its not bad.

Good suggestion, but my guess is that he'll give up on it as he really

doesn't like it anyway. It's SUPPOSED to be good for people, so he

tried it but it doesn't look like he should even consider it any more.

He'll have bacon and eggs in the morning and we'll see what the numbers

look like.
