Hi Kathy - Welcome to the group. It's nice to have you with us. Thanks for

sharing your story with us. I think you are right in that no matter what

our self-esteem is as a MO person, the health aspects catch up to us one way

or another and it just becomes a necessity to have the surgery and have a

chance at saving our lives. If you lose friends from your " fat community " ,

you will more than make up for it with new friends here. We will love and

support you along the way. I wish you all the best on your upcoming
