One of my daughters boyfriend had a Huskie, and the vet refused to even look at him til they came up with a $2500 deposit... They managed to scrape it all together, the vet spent every dime of it, then they had to put him down anyway. I think the vet knew that would be the eventual outcome, too. It should not be about money, it should be about caring for an animal. I have not had a good week, either, have had some "family" issues with my sister, which has been very upsetting to me, but things are looking up. Stacey, I am so glad that you are posting and doing ok. Pinkie, it is good to read that you are doing ok too. My friends, the kitten that I was trying to adopt that has the same birth defect that I have, has an impacted colon and won't live much longer. The Shelter needs to come up with $3,000 in less than two days if "Bagel" is to live. Oh how I hate that it seems like each and every thing in this world is all about money. Mark, please know that my heart is truly going out to you. I just want to smack some one for you right now. Actually I want to do more, but don't have the strength. Please know I am here with all of you. There is very little positive I can say today so, please just for this moment until I can "get a grip" allow me to just say please have a wonderful day.
