My trigger finger started with stiffness in one finger on my left

hand. Then it kind of got stuck closed and would " pop " open if I

forced it. It progresses to the point that I lost the ability to

open and close the finger. I got a few cortisone shots but I heard

that shots will do more harm than good if used over an extended

period.

I had carpel tunnel surgery and trigger finger release surgery at

the same time. One year later I have almost regain the use of my

hand after months of pt. Now my shoulder is frozen because I

guarded my hand for such a long time. I'm looking at more pt 3-4

times per week to resolve the frozen shoulder issue.

The numbness, stinging, pins and needles I had was associated with

carple tunnel.

My friend told me I should try accupuncture but I don't know

anything about it.

Suggestions?
