Guest guest
Isn't weird how good you feel after the surgery? I mean I was all set to be in horrible pain! A friend of mine at work said it too her dad & sister 6 weeks to recover & feel normal! I'm wondering now if they didn't have an open RNY tho. I felt great 2 days after surgery!!! My tummy muscles were a little sore; but that's it! 380/344/160 wrote: > Hi > > I had my surgery on a Friday.I was discharged on a Sunday.I slept > alot Monday & Tuesday but Wednesday I was up and almost feeling back > to normal.I had a friend call my sister to ask how I was 2 weeks > after my surgery. My sister said " why don't you call her yourself? Guest guest
Yea...there was no laying flat or on my side for a couple of days; but after that I was fine. Probably for 2 or 3 days after I got out of the hospital I would put a small pillow under my bell when I laid on my side. That was more comfortable. But, now...2 weeks out...I'm back to normal activities. :-) 380/344/160 Mike Tune wrote: > Im with you , for as big a guy as I am an all, I get worked up when I > have to go get my blood work done.......Cuz dem needles really hurt really > really bad! > > I am on the all-wuss team, and I could not believe how good I felt > afterwards. Guest guest
Hi a, I'm sorry you in so much pain but congrats on the 10 pounds. I'm only pre op but I've decided to tell myself after surgery that it will be worth it in the end. Maybe once you are up and about with less pain you could reward yourself with something special to signify getting over this rough patch. Just a thought. Good luck and hoepfully the pain will ease quickly for you. Laurel
