Guest guest
Donna, I agree with some of the other posts... I think you should try the Stellate blocks, they may be helpful to you. Seeing Drs. has always been one of my biggest "problems" with RSD. I get so tired of going over my history, the questions, the skepticism, etc. Let us know what the Dr. in Boston says. The emotions are understandable. We all experience the same ones at different times. Good that you can talk about them to us, though. If the depression seems to linger too long, I would recommend seeing a pyschologist or someone to help you deal with that. Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
She sounds fantastic , you're very lucky! I do feel very blessed, and my female psychologist offers hugs also. The first time she said "you look like you could use a hug," being one of my rougher times. Later she said if I ever needed one, just to ask. She must have sensed at times that I could use one but was hesitant. And I have asked for one since then. She's coming home from a tour to Israel, so will see her at the end of the week. Love, N.Donna wrote: my podiatrist asked if she could give me a hug. I thought it was because I had brought her back something. Now I think it's because she knew what the road ahead was going to be like! We can all use a hug every now and then! Above all else some days thats ALL I really want! She's stuck with me for five years to make sure I get the proper care. This summer she's going to El Salvador for a 2 week mission trip and is really excited about it. She'll be doing foot work, plus working with children. She's the one that diagnosed the RSD.> She sounds fantastic , you're very lucky!Have a great day and thanks :)HugsDonna
Guest guest
Donna not sure how many replies you will receive but sure will be plenty and most all will agree with you due to the fact that this is not a disease that has a specific answer to and each person reacts differently to the same treatment, med, etc. That is what leads alot of us to frustration as we know some that do well with a certain treatment and then we just can have no positive result which just frustrates the heck out of us. As we all want to go to a doctor, get some type of treatment, answer, reason for why we feel a certain way and walk out knowing we are going to be better. That is same way with those that have Fibro and IBS and Arthritis and Chronic Fatigue which at least one of these seems to come along with rsd which is a big pain. Hope this makes some sort of sense to you Donna. I do not know you and not sure just what has gone on with your life so am responding in general to the difficulty of living with something that makes our life different than we had it planned to be. Please know that it is true that getting the frustration out on here is what makes this such a wonderful digest. As you say we do understand and have empathy for your pain and sorrow that your life has changed and how you and all of us don't like it. Take care and glad you were able to speak your heart and hope it helped you. Hugs s Momma JoAnn a down day >. I'm afraid of what the future > holds right now,.
