Guest guest Posted October 16, 2002 Report Share Posted October 16, 2002 For my upper jaw/genio surgery - I can't believe it's been 6 weeks already - how time has flown! I got the splint out week 2.5 and the ok for soft foods I got a power chain on my upper teeth at 4 weeks post op I flew to Miami last week for the UM/FSU game - no sinus problems on the plane!! And Monday at the 6 week post-op visit - I got 4 oz. rubberbands - (much easier to open my mouth), the OK to eat whatever I want (woo hoo), and I'm officially released to my orthodontist - I don't need to see the oral surgeon for 4 months.
