Thanks, Flora, and hang in there for your 15 minutes of fame. The newspapers are always on top of news of the moment and then they fill in with other stuff. Guest guest
Kathi..I have been working with a reporter here at the Times who has expressed interest in doing a " human interest " story(s) about the PLS/HSP world. I provided him with a copy of the brochure and forwarded some of the emails I've received (including the latest mentioning the Boston Globe). He is aware we are attending TeamWalk and I promised to give him an update when we return. All ideas have to be presented to the editorial board for approval before a writer can engage the process of researching and crafting a story angle. It's not quite as simple as sharing an concept and having it published. We have a saying here at the Times which defines it perfectly... " we turn on a dime with the speed of a battleship! " I am confident that something will result from this effort but it will take time. Wish I could rush the process to coincide with next week's event but that ain't gonna happen. When and if this comes together most likely you, Mark and few other players may be contacted for comments. We'll just have to see where this goes. Get ready to rock Boston!....Doug/St. sburg, FL kathigeisler1@aol .com To: PLS-FRIENDS cc: 08/20/04 05:39 AM Subject: Re: Digest Number 2650 Please respond to PLS-FRIENDS In a message dated 8/20/2004 12:49:47 AM Eastern Daylight Time, PLS-FRIENDS writes: > Good > catch on the Globe still haven't gotten a bit with Doug's paper. Guest guest
Doug and Flora, I want to make sure we get a chance to meet in Boston! Would you like me to send a picture of my family from last year's Teamwalk so you know who I am? Looking forward to meeting you!
