Guest guest Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 Dear Joan and all, Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you. I wrote twice but was timed out by my computer. I guess my posts were a bit too long. Anyhow, I do work part time. I am the director of a preschool. I have 12 teachers and 63 children who are all under my care. I only work Monday-Thursday from 8-12:30. I love the children and enjoy working with a incredible staff. They were all there for me when I was first diagnosed with this disease and we all work together as a team. They are wonderful. I am in pain every day but I have to keep going, just like everyone else. I have three children and a supportive husband. I have been on everything. The only thing that truly worked was the Prednisone, but it gave me high blood pressure and an extra 50 lbs along with edema. I went off of everything two years ago, with the exception of the high blood pressure meds. Now I am having problems again that are causing me all kinds of issues.
