Guest guest
Sandy, I wuld try IV clindamycin Thats a good thing to ry. Dr S in Iowa treated a lot of Lupus pts with IV doxy and they had renal disease that was helped....another thought. There are several ways for you to go. I would also address yeast as that can make RA symptoms wors as well( Primal defense was good as well as Hulda s black walnut hull) I do naet and he can check all the meds and sipplemennts whether i can take them. Good way to check Minocin.( Only use the brand ...less fillers and less to deal with) I am allergic to a lot and this has saved my body a lot of grief. www.naet.com will give you info as well as practitioners) This is an allergy elimination technique and when you look at practitioners, I thought a Licensed Accpuncturist was best as all the others use accupressure. LAc is their designation . Find ones with lots of coursework..they then are into it. Mine just became a trainer for them Hang in there Marge
Guest guest
Hi, It does seem like the doctor drop the ball in not talking to you. I would first call him and let him know how you feel first. The nurse should have at least asked if you had a few questions. I think it would help you if you did seek a specialist to look at your daughter although from what you told us it does seem like a mild a case. However, she is at the age where things can change and she does have to be followed closely. I think it should be every three months rather than six months in my opinion. If you let the group know where you live we might be able to point you in the right direction for a specialist. Good luck. Your daughter is very blessed to have such a concerned mom. God Bless You! New with lots of questions Posted by: & quot;jhills23 & quot; JHills23@... jhills23 Date: Mon Aug 29, 2011 3:23 pm ((PDT)) Hello everyone, I joined this group in hopes of finding some support and some answers. It was the only really active group I could find. Last week during a routine yearly physical my 13 year old daughter & #39;s doctor was concerned about her back. We went and got the xrays done that same day. The next day the doctor & #39;s nurse called and said my daughter has mild scoliosis and to come back in 6 months. That was it, just hung up after that! Didn & #39;t bother asking if we had any questions or concerns or anything! Needless to say, it left us shocked and confused. I then went and got a copy of the report and this is what it says & quot;10 degree dextrocurvature is present at T4. 9 degree levo curvature is observed centered at L1. No hemivertebra or other deformities of the thoracic vertebral bodies are present. Some subluxation or fracture. The paraspinous soft tissues unremarkable. Conclusion: Mild S scoliosis & quot; Now, we have no idea what any of this means! We don & #39;t know if we should be seeking a second opinion or are we ok to wait the 6 months for another check up? Should we seek out a specialist? Can she still participate in sports and PE at school? Are there any limitations? What do all those numbers and words in the report mean? As you can, we are very confused. I love her doctor very much and I fully trust the doctor but she kind of dropped the ball on this by not offering us any information! So, I am here hoping to find some answers and some advice!
