Guest guest
Mark, I have experienced the same. I am 36 and when I was about 22 or 23 I was put on Zanax for really bad panic attacks. I quicly came to find that it lasted a very short amount of time and Klonipin was much better. I know many of people say how addicting it is. I have taken .5mg since my 20's and have NO iproblem. I take it at night for the most part. Knock on wood lol I have not needed it for a big panic attack in awhile, although I am on other AD's that help it. Ambien for me is no helpful. There are times I have taken it and had no sleep or the most three hours. a -- Re: ? Natural Alternatives for Taking Zanax ? I've been on various Benzos for years and there is nothing which can Take their place. Anything natural would be like comparing a baby Asprin to an Oxycontin tablet. Xanax is the worse in my opinion but at least your on a very low dose. I was taking many more times than that. I was able to slowly wean myself from Xanax to Clonazepam and then Just recently wean that way down through treating my adrenals with Hydrocortisone. I use to get those adrenaline rush's at work and have to take the Xanax but now that my temps are stable it isn't happening much Anymore. I get it a little bit and just eat something and take some Hydrocortisone instead of a benzo. So I'm saying what I've learned here is RIGHT and Val is Right. I now only take one very low dose of Clonazepam at bedtime for Sleeping. Usually only .5mg. And finally I'm sleeping longer and Better than back when I use to take 2mg's of Xanax at bedtime. Off topic but I don't recommend Ambien for sleep either. Even if I Take three of them I only sleep for three hours on the dot. Then I'm Wide awake but feel like a zombie for another four hours after getting Up. I think Ambien is a bad drug. Ok just wanted to give my 2cents since I've been on those drugs for a Long time. Guest guest
Not sure if I posted this before so forgive me if I'm repeating myself! I and several members of my family have found Kava really helpful for anxiety. Root of the matter in Canada is an excellent source..
