LOL > C Hi , thanks for the post, I'm in thumb twiddling mode for another couple of months. So far I've had 4 AF episodes since the ablation (1st Feb) each lasting around 20 hours and a couple of near misses. I'm still sleeping much better than I did pre-ablation and at the moment my AF feels like I'm in a similar place to a few years ago (much better than 2004!) My EP warned me that I was a good candidate for quite a bumpy few months so I'm trying to remain optimistic that things will settle down. So depending on how things pan out over the next couple of months the options of doing nothing, trying meds or going for a second procedure will crop up. I'll only do nothing if my AF stops altogether and whilst I'm willing to go for a second procedure I also don't mind trying a med first to see if that'll calm things down for a while. So the next step us unlikely to happen until early May. It would be nice to hear updates from the other folk here who are in the early post ablation stage (I think there's quite a few of us All the best -- D
