Guest guest
Rita, My thoughts and prayers go to you and your Mother. I am so sorry to hear about her lump. God bless, Sandy Good News/Bad New Hi All: Have had a lot going on this past month. Good News first: This past Saturday a daughter of some very good friends of our got married. She is 25 and I have known her since she was 2. I always kidded her and promised her that someday I would dance at her wedding. Well on Saturday I danced (Glen 's - Moonlight Serenade). Everybody cleared the dance floor and applauded us ( was my partner of course), it was quite a moment, especially where I was in my electric chair all thru the wedding. It really confused people who didn't know me, to see me walk out and dance. Now the bad news: My mother who is 87, just revealed to us she found a large lump on her right breast. She kept it to herself for 5 weeks, as not to upset us as we had so much going on this past month. She had a mammogram on Friday, and goes for a biopsy tomorrow. Her doctor's are 90% sure it malignant (hate that word). So prayer's are needed. I know I can depend on you guys, your always there. Thanks and God Bless! Rita Till next time! Guest guest
Thanks Yolanda, but Mom has two blocked arteries 100%,and she could never survive any type of surgery, not even heart, and she has been thru so much the past 3 years, her quality of life is not good, and I feel enough is enough! But it's her decision, it's her body and her life, and we will support her no matter what. Thanks again, and thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayer's. She had her biopsy this afternoon, and came home crying it was very painful for her, I guess they hit a nerve. The doctor wanted to take more tissue and she said " no " . So we shall see what develops. Rita Till next time! Love & Hugs ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them. Guest guest
Hi Rita, My mom passed away last November. She was 87. Her heart was half dead according to the doctors. She had two mild heart attacks and pneumonia. She lasted in the hospital about one month with a respirator and a feeding tube. It was sad to see her in that condition and I began to feel like you and said enough is enough also. I thank God she is in a better place now. But as you say, it's your mom's decision and we will help you pray along those lines. Sometimes it's harder for us to let go, then it is for the family member who is going through the difficulty. Saying all of this, I feel the Lord knows what's best and we pray He will do whatever is best for her. Keep us updated. Take care and...
