Guest guest
Edith, The Joint Advantage maybe. It does help with my legs being stiff sometimes and PT and my Total Gym. It could be any of these and maybe all. My legs are stronger if they were not I could not get up by my self. I am well pleased and hope it does not STOP. I can't wait to tell Dr. Fink when I see him on August 11. Edith my ankles and legs and stomach has really gone down since I started to take my new medication. Guest guest
Jane Anne: You sound so up beat and that helps your physical condition. You know how I feel about acceptance and attitude. I had a really bad experience with a local pastor a couple of years ago, and it really came unexpected and it was somebody had " shot " me. I never recovered from the shock of what happen, and soon after I was forced into my power chair. Since then, things have gotten better and I am also stronger. In fact last weekend, I was at our daughter's and her and her husband bought a house on a river. They also bought a paddle boat, with a small battery operated motor. They couldn't wait for me to hope in and take a ride. My said " no way " was I going into the boat, well that's all I needed. down to the dock I went, walker and all. With the help of my son, I was able to climb into the boat, and down the river I went. I even tried to paddle, and they thought I couldn't keep up, well I should them. I out paddled my 48 year old son-in-law, he pooped out. A year ago my legs were so weak, I could never have done that. My daughter always says, " Ma your amazing " , I won't tell you what said! LOL!!! So what I am trying to say is trust your body, and it will tell you when and what not to do, and you can benefit in one way or another. Galen, if you ever come north again, we can race in the Concord River. The paddle boat against the kayak, what do you think! Rita Till next time! Love & Hugs ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them.
