Guest guest Posted March 23, 2000 Report Share Posted March 23, 2000 I received that dreaded phone call today informing me that Cigna PPO denied me for surgery. I am trying to deal with this but honestly I feel like somebody just shot me in the chest. I know that I can appeal but I need some help. If anyone reading this post has been denied and filed an appeal that was accepted could you please send me a copy of your appeal letter for an outline as to what I should write. I am lost for words. I want this so bad, so I can live a normal life. I want to be able to play soccer with my son and go on bike rides with him and take him places and actually enjoy it instead of worrying about whether I'm going to fit in the seat or if it is even going to hold me. I really need some input here because I feel like I am loosing this battle! Thank you all for being so supportive. I'm sorry for babbling on like this.
