Guest guest
Hi All, Tomorrow marks one full week since the MGB. I went home in one day, haven't needed pain pills since the hospital, have no heartburn or nausea. Wow, is this great or what? The only minor problem I've noticed is that one of my stapled areas is spreading apart a little. Not bleeding, just spreading, so I put a butterfly type bandage on that spot. Oh, I weighed 304 the day of surgery. This morning I weighed 293, 11 #'s gone, never to adorn my body again. I was really tired the first few days. Get a little more oomph each new day. I plan on returning to Water Aerobics as soon as the stapled areas have totally healed, until then I walk a little more each day. I only wish that I had found DR. R. much sooner. I feel that life can begin again at 50. Thanks to all who helped me, directly and indirectly. I will be more than happy to talk to any of you doing your homework. Atwood in Chapel Hill MGB 3-6-00 Bayard A@... I don't work outside the house, so am in and out most of the time during the week. Any time you can catch me is fine. Guest guest
Hi , I hope this note finds you in good health. I need you for one of my patient contacts. If you could please answer the following questions: 1. What was your weight before the surgery and how much do you weigh now? 2. How is your body reacting to all the meds? 3. What problems have you had since the surgery? 4. What advice could you offer any pre-op? Thank you in advance for any help that you can give.
