Dear listers with hair loss:

I am thinking I might be able to get free Rogaine for you if you would use it.

I wrote to Rogaine's E-mail address that I did not take their advice not to

use Rogaine in the hope that my fast-disappearing hair would grow back. I

told them that it is growing back with great vigor after only three months on

Rogaine 5% for men (my balding husband is so impressed he has started using

it). I also told them I plan to keep using it and that my docs said women

seem to lose more hair than men on toxic medecines. (They have a disclaimer

on the pkg about women using 5% for men saying that a few women will get

mustaches).

Today I got a message from them that they want to talk to me and they gave me

a number to call. It may just be a call to tell me that they don't want me

to tell them later that I had some bad side effects (a cover-your-fanny call)

and it may be a call asking for more information. If it sounds like they

would like to test the stuff for more people like me I can offer the idea

that I am in a support group that has other patients with hair loss from meds

or illness. If they would like to provide free Rogaine for those people I

would ask if they would be willing to use it and get names and addresses.

Is anyone interested in case the conversation takes that direction??? I plan

to call on Monday.
