Guest guest
, My partner was diagnosed with lupus a few years ago, as well as my mom's best friend and a few other acquaintances. Knowing them and talking to them, they all seem to have one thing in common...long term use of artificial sweetener (particularly aspartame/diet soda), and low grade, long term dehydration from not drinking much water. I'm curious to know if your mother fits this scenario also. I've heard artificial sweeteners linked to immune problems before, but not much evidence. Hope you don't mind my asking. Thanks in advance! w/peace wes bennett wesbenn@... www.knowledgeisthecure.com wes bennett photography & design > > Jim, > > > > Mom was taking saunas, and I think it will help her Lupus. WES, you would be amazed how well people get when they stop drinking diet drinks and start drinking large amounts of pure water ! It is simply amazing, and not hard to do ! kat
Guest guest
Wes, Mom has never used artificial sweetener, nor does she drink any kind of sodas, but despite our efforts to get her to drink an abundance of water, she has failed to drink enough. She is doing better, but coffee is her drink of choice, so she may be dehydrated, but we monitor her closely. I noticed that we had to get her off mineral water onto distilled to bring her out of a heart attack zone several years ago. She had a severe allergic reaction to macrodantin over 20 years ago (she broke out in hives for over a year), and I've seen a drug reaction implicated in the literature as a cause for lupus. I've had to change her diet, because echinacea, melatonin, even alfalfa, is listed as bad for lupus since they stimulate an already hyper immune system. She also has not eaten as well as she should have. Right now, the fatigue is the main symptom, but she is doing pretty good compared to any other 79 year old, so I'm thankful for that. She used to have psoriasis real bad, which implicates the liver, but after several years of good " vitamins " that has gone away completely and not come back. jp Re: lupus question , My partner was diagnosed with lupus a few years ago, as well as my mom's best friend and a few other acquaintances. Guest guest
Hi , I have read that colostrum supposedly is am immune system balancer. In other words, if it is high it brings it down and if it is low it pumps it up. Don't know for sure. That is just what I have read. I don't know much more then just that . Oh sorry you have another hurdle but I think you will be OK as long as you get the right treatment quickly .
