Guest guest
, considering your husband has scleroderma, and recently started another antibiotic, the itching could be a Herxheimer reaction. There is a homeopathic cream called Florasone by Boericke & Tafel that might help. Guest guest
, I can remember way back when I first began the minocin and clindamycine iv's. I itched and had a rash which appeared at one place and then this would move to another. One of the worse places for me to itch was the scalp. I took nothing for mine but itched through the herx. Best of luck to your husband.
Guest guest
Hi, - Better talk to docs about this-itchy rashes can be dangerous. I got a steroid shot from my GP when I reacted to antibiotics this way to clear it up. No sense in your hubby being in more pain, or in danger from an allergic reaction to the IM clindy!! Good luck!
