I asked my husband the same thing, what if I lose all of the bust, He of course said he would get me some new ones. I think by then I'll just want to get them off my lap and back on my chest where they belong. I'll second your motion, This is not meant to offend anyone>>>>>You take care, and just so you know, You do keep me laughing!(((hugs))) Constance and the bad thing is that back in 97 i had nine pounds of bustline removed but even if i hadnt I would have had to have them lifted and implants put in. No matter what I will have that done as far as anything goes. Even at a loss of 33 pounds and so much more to go I can already see the tummy loosening up. Guest guest
Thanks for the info Wolfie. I have Tricare (military) and I have heard that they are pretty good about covering it if you have any problems relating to the sagging skin and since I already do and I am only 1 month post op I don't really think I am going to have a problem. But you never know. I am still going to exercise it like crazy. Candi Re: Re: Shrinking Boobs? But if you ask them about a " Panniculectomy " it is covered. Any documentation of rashes or any kind of skin inflammation takes pictures and document and make sure you have doctor visits and reports to back you up. It is the removal of the sagging skin some call an " Apron " . I have not met one person with insurance that this was not covered. Now the arms , thighs, chin, butt, and the rest are all out of pocket. Hope this helps. Wolfie Leeds, Alabama Lap RNY August 27,2003 Dr. Lee A. Guest guest
Well, of course, I just had to be different... Years ago, while in college, I lost 80lbs; I went from a 40D to a 34DD! Although it took about 10 years for me to gain the weight back and then some, I remained a DD cup. Now, I'm on the losing side and currently down 40lbs (to the weight I was when I began losing in college)- went from 46DD (pre-op) to 42DD... Here's hoping that history doesn't repeat itself and I end up a larger cup! LOL! > I apologize if this offends anyone. It isn't intended to at all. Guest guest
my husband asked me this morning if my boobs were going to shrink and i said i didn't know - i used to be a A-B cup - i told him i would probably have to have implants just to lift them b/c i get horrible infections under them - i don't care to go bigger but just put them where they are supposed to be (LOL) i just saw the noon news and they talked about plastic surgery after gastric bypass and the body lift and said its about 15,000 -- i'm sure thats just the dr fee - not the hospital. i can't say what i will need until i start going through changes. i'm just happy to have lost 10 lbs over 2 weeks and that has put me back in my range of being able to take care of my own hygiene.... visit our website www.geocities.com/tanyarn96/countryside.html www.poncetihomes.com -- Re: Re: Shrinking Boobs?
