Guest guest Posted December 24, 2003 Report Share Posted December 24, 2003 Tilted back in my chair, I can watch out the window .. I have been watching the eagles soar overhead. A rehabilitated eagle was released about a mile from me last week and has been circling during the mid day all week. You can hear him whistling and calling. A pair of eagles joined him yesterday. Now the three of them are circling and calling. It is an awesome sight!! The sky is blue and cloudless; the temperature is 78°, and there is a fresh smell to the air after the brief rain shower we had this morning. My shopping is done, my breathing is a bit better today (still wearing oxygen, but am not having to " drag " my breath in), and as long as I don't do too much walking around .. or bend over .. I feel pretty good. PLUS .. I don't have to cook tomorrow!! It doesn't get much better than this .. I just love the winter holidays in Florida! hugs and Happy Holidays to you all!!
