Guest guest
Hello Cheryl, First of all - let me say I'm so sorry you are having so much trouble with this crazy illness. Second of all - I don't have very good news for you about my recovery from my very first acute attack, which just happened to be from an ERCP. I really do hate to tell you this, but <Deep sigh> here goes...........I didn't leave the hospital for 6 weeks, and that was in 93, and I have NEVER " gotten back to where I was before " as you said. I'm so sorry, but you asked. I hope you do get alot better, and you do return to your old self soon. Please keep me posted on how you are. Again, I'm really sorry you are so sick. Take care. Lots of Hugs, ********************************************************************** > To anyone out there listening: >.............It will be 2 weeks tomorrow (Tuesday) that I've been home from the hospital (acute pancreatits brought on from an ERCP) and I am STILL having a great deal of pain, but mostly soreness/tenderness in my abdomen. I am still exhausted, having pain after every meal, and having problems with " trips to the bathroom " ........... Just how long did it take for you to get back to " ground zero " --where you were before the attack--as the docs put it? Did you actually get back there? > Cheryl in Illinois
