Re: another surgery for Em

Hello all

Em is going back in for another op next Tuesday 3 September. Saw the

Neurosurgeon today and he suspects infection from a CSF leak. is not very

happy about having all her hair shaved off again, she has only just stopped

wearing a wig/bandanas etc from the last one...ah well...better to know what is

causing the big lump on her head..the surgeon said he hasn't seen anything like

it. If nothing else, we have decided that there will only be rare and exotic

illnesses in this family, no boring ordinary problems for us!! Will keep you

all posted on the outcome.

i wish her and your family well, really hope this is as simple as

procedure as can be. Tell Em that short hair is chic, sporty, and way

cool. im sure that not make her feel any better, but with a cute pair

of tasteful dangly earrings short buzz cut can be really cute, it

grows back pretty fast. i do remember a friend having to have a 2nd

surgery for a CSF leak, its not uncommon at all. good luck.
