Christmas

Candy canes, bows and ribbons,Colored paper and more; Cheery wreaths, boxes and banglesAre all over the floor.

Glittery ornaments and stockings, Tinsel and blinking lights; Glowing stars and angels twinklingThroughout the cold nights.

Different piles of food and gifts, Party dresses and drink; Frantic shopping until midnight, More spending than we think.

Is this what Christmas is all about,And what's this really for? For the true spirit of Christmas isNot available in any store.

All the material things that we shareWe shouldn't bother to measure;And we should only be grateful for A truly untouchable treasure.

For peace and love cannot be bought,Nor found in any shopping mall; I would give up every purchased gift,I would gladly trade them all.

Because you are a gift like no other,A treasure for which I've been blessed;And I wish for you this holiday seasonA full year of pure happiness!

Three men all happened to die on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint at the pearly gates. "In honor of this holy season," Saint said, "you must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He then flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates," Saint said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "They're jingle bells."

Saint said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."

The third man began to desperately search through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.

Saint looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "Well..... they're Carol's."
