Amen !

I think what happens to us during the angry phase is that like someone

else pointed out, we have been taking the anger out on ourselves by overeating,

etc... and suddenly we're faced with really devoting time to take care

of ourselves for once so the anger surfaces. I think it's great that

a has taken up pottery and is finding it a good release. I won't

say I never get angry, but now that I'm generally more happy with my life

the anger dissipates easily. I have a little meditation I do where

I imagine problems, anger sources, etc... as bubbles. I'm sitting

at the bottom of a lake and spitting out the bubbles and I watch them surface

and pop. Sounds kooky, I know but it works for me :) And I

believe people who have anger issues after surgery also had them before

surgery; they're just manifesting themselves in different ways.

Just my .02

I came to the meeting last night and was alittle

would

of changed my mind.I figure before or after we all have anger issues

but we all have to deal with them the best we can. As I look at

it my

anger now is not being able to run with my grand kids because gram

is

so tired with all this weight not being able to do a simple task

tieing my own shoes always being out of breath. This to me is

anger.Just thinking of all the little things Ill be able to do

being a fat women I cant wast my time getting angry at them Im

going

to love every day of the new me. even tieing my own shoes.
