Guest guest
a & Donna, I'm glad you found a drug that works. Xanax works for me, but because it's addictive they limit you on the amount of time you can take the stuff...like anxiety/panic attacks go away or something. I just wish insurance companies would learn that not all antidepressants work the same whether they're SSRIS or what. Generic Prozac is on the low tier on my insurance, where Effexor and Lexapro is on the high end. My high tier co-pay goes up to $45 a prescription after the 1st. On a tight budget that's kind of rough. Especially after spending $60 in co-pays on 3 doctor visits that month. The way my insurance seems to look at it, you should get your doctor to prescribe the low tier stuff, whether is works for you or not. Just adding my two cents to the posts. I went to the internist yesterday and am a little punchy. Plus I haven't taken any antidepressants for the last 2 months and I really need to. For some reason I miss my mom a lot this time of year. She died 6 years ago from complications of scleroderma...and I had to get lupus. Auto- immune diseases be damned. Enough of my whining. Hope everyone has a great holiday!
