Guest guest
Hi everyone, Went to my neurologist Friday. He got my blood work and x-rays back. Said I don't have Lupus and I don't have Rheumatoid arthritis. So, it's the second verse of the same song I've been getting for 4 years now. First I have it, then I don't, but my symptoms never change, and I never feel better. Now they are pointing excitedly to Fibro. I fit all the symptoms but display none of the triggers. My neuro wants to wait and see if my memory and language problems get better for a month and then he's going to send me in for serious diagnostic tests. I just want to know what makes him think I'll suddenly get better next month when I've been getting increasingly worse for a year? At some point I hope to find a doctor that is man/woman enough to look me in the eye and say the words....I have no idea what's wrong with you, and I don't know how to find out. Instead I keep getting, let's wait and see if you spontaneously get better crap. Ah well, I'll have to let it roll off my back. I'm moving into my new house tomorrow, the holidays are upon us, I'm leaving Saturday to fly to see my mom, and I'm not going to let the constant feeling awful get me down. I'm going to do what I can and sleep when I have to. Have wonderful holidays everyone. I won't be back on till early January.
Guest guest
.. I feel for ya guy! Been there .. worn out the t-shirt .. just hang in there and dont give up. More than likely the doctor is just as frustrated as you are .. only difference is .. he is getting paid for it .. smiles .. too bad it isnt the other way around eh? Happy Holidays .. and I am glad you are finally getting into your house! Be safe ..
