Guest guest
A couple of recent posts have motivated me to want to add my thanks to this group for the support I have received over the last 5-6 years. Especially when I first joined, I had a lot of questions which were answered with caring and most importantly with hope. Although many names come to mind, long-time members of the group will probably remember Pippen's and Lisbeth's warm welcomes and encouragement to new members in particular. I needed that so much to get through my 5 month herx and it was really the first time in 19 years of treatment up to that time that I had felt a strong sense of hope in the course I was following. I am also just as grateful for all of the excellent research that has been presented and referenced here over the years. On more than one occasion, I have been able to take copies of studies and research findings with me to a doctor's appointment and that has helped me to be an informed patient, more capable of participating in my health care decisions with my doctors. And of course, a special thank you goes to Ethel and again for making this group possible. (RA 25+ years, AP since Nov. 97)
