Guest guest
At my pre-op anestheseologist suggested an epidural for pain management. They put it in with a local before you have general anesthesia. It was also suggested by an anestheseologist I met through work. Someone at the BI Support Group had one and said it was great, as you're not doped up after surgery yet have no pain. Has anyone done this? Pros? cons? Thanks, Mara Surgery 2/14/01 Dr. Mun/BI
Guest guest
I had an epidural for a c-section along with other anestesia and it was great. A few hours after I was up and walking to the nursery to see my son. I had heard of really bad headaches after anestesia but I never had any - thank goodness because that is one thing that makes me act like a baby and cry for mommy is a migraine. I don't know if this helps but it is the only experience I have had with anestesia.
