Hi Rae,

Sorry to hear about your problem but sometimes you get yeast even with

probiotics. Been ther done that (soft smile). I hope you are improving since

yeast systemically can be devestating. I myself was on Diflucan and nystatin

for a year. What is the site of the yeast connection board? Just curious.

thanks,

cooky

rheumatic Yeast ridden Body

I reached a state of well-being thanks to this board. I rarely post,

but I read others daily.

Unfortunately, I failed to take probiotics as suggested and now I'm

spending most of my time on the yeast-connection board and still not

feeling well. I should have listened!

Sincerely, Rae

Cooky,

I have found yeastconnection.com to be useful. I have to admit - I was

ignorant to fact that I was the cause of my problem.

I was eating a lot of sugar and drinking beer all summer. I'll be back.

Rae

Cooky,

I've been meaning to write you. What are the ratios for the nose drops. I

thought I saved the email but I didn't. I know Ute said to use regular salt

also instead of iodized .

Thanks

1/2 teaspoon salt in 1/2 cup water with a pinch on

baking soda.

Another doctor recommended I use TYR nasel spray, as

the ratio will be a lot more consistant, so i

SWITCHED, AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING.

Our doctor put me and my sister (I have SD; she has SD/RA) on a nasal spray

which we have used faithfully and with excellent results for years. It is:

1/4 t soda

1/4 t sea salt

7 drops tea tree oil

7 drops d'Arco (my sister uses this in hers; I cannot as it stirs

too much up)

Place in glass of water, stir well to dissolve and use twice daily as a

nose rinse.

Good luck and hope this one helps.

Jan hi,

I would rather use the sprays also and ocean works the best for me. I buy a

new bottle once a month even if it is not empty so there is no bacteria

growth.

The only thing I have not tried is a neti pot.

I was just at the ENT doc and I am to get a CT scan of my sinuses...probably

just to comfirm I have a sinus condition LOL

He gave me nasonex but it has cortisone in it so I hessitate to use it.

I also have dry eye syndrome and am using a med I got on the internet. I was

waiting to see if there were any results before posting what it was. The doc

(who was great) on the site said it may help shogrens (sp).

I am s sister, Patsy sd & ra.

I make my sinus rinse by the recipe I was origionally given only triple the

amount and use twice daily and 3 times if my sinus are acting up.

Sinus Rinse

1 pint boiled or steril water

3/4 tsp sea salt

3/4 tsp soda

10 drops tea tree oil

10 drops black walnut hull tinture

10 drops pau d' arco extract

10 drops collidal silver

10 drops grapefruit seed extract

I use a ear bulb syringe , hold head back and squirt one nostral at a time

and be ready to spit when it runs into throat.

This is also good gargle and mouthwash

all the drops can be found at a health food store

l silver liquid
