I see the list has gotten quiet again so let's all post and check in and let us all know how you are doing. We have some new members and I do welcome each of you. I am sorry that you have this disease or have a family member that has it, but I am glad you found us. We are a family here and there are many who are willing to help. Just ask questions and you are able to browse through the messages to find some very important information. We come from everywhere and have all kinds of problems connected with this disease so as I said, there are many here who can help and are willing to do so. There are no "stupid" questions, so PLEASE feel free to ask for help. Let us know about you also, so we can get to know you better. Sending hugs and well wishes to each and every one. Guest guest
Dear Darlene and everyone of the group, Yes, it's a good thing to post and check in and lets us all know how we are doing. On this moment I'm very happy but also a little bit afraid. The sarcmonster is really quiet on the moment. I'm 32 weeks pregnant now and the lumboperitoneal shunt is still working well. No big granulomas is my brain, I do not feel a granulomas meningitis on the moment. No high liquor pressure. Hopefully the last weeks of my pregnancy will goes right. But it is a tricky period. When my belly grows too big it can block my shunt and then I have the high liquor pressure back till the delivery. The fatigues is the worst thing on the moment. But a lot of friends and family will help my. Yesterday I had an appointment with my gynecologist and she made an echo again. The baby is turned in the right position. First it was laying with the feet down. So when the baby don't turn again I do not need a sectio caesarian!! I cross my fingers, because than I have a high risk of infections with the shunt and the possibility to get an other meningitis. So lets think positive and in the beginning of March I will be a mother again of a beautiful child. Take care and CARPE DIEM, A big hugh from your neurosarcoidosis friend from the Netherlands, > > Good morning and I hope this finds each of you doing well. Guest guest
Yes, ... that is so wonderful ... the baby is almost here! ... I remember reading your post about the time I first joined the group when you had said you were pregnant. I had once read that pregnancy keeps the sarc at bay ... the docs should be looking into that fact regarding the hormones to help us all! Congratulations again and will be constantly praying the sarc stays at bay!, Joan ,Wow, 32 weeks! Another 8 and baby will be here! Amazing how the sarc monster is staying quiet-- being pregnant must be helping with the hormones that are otherwise interrupted. You will be in our prayers for a normal delivery, and a healthy baby.Lovingly,Tracie
