Hi Group and Dr. Sy,

I have been meaning to write this post for a while. I want to add my thanks

to the group and Dr. Sy for developing, introducing, and testing the ZnO

cream. II have been using it for about three weeks and love it. It calms

down my face, and evens out my skin tone. The color happens to be compatible

with my complexion, allowing me to get away without wearing make-up. How is

that for regaining lost freedom! I have even been able to cut back on my

daytime topical medication (Cleocin-T).

This is a true example of the payoff resulting from hard work, perseverance

and cooperation.

Thank you for your most gratifying message! I am quite touched by it. Some

wise person said that one of the secrets of acquiring happiness, is to help

others. I am very happy right now!

I am continuing to learn more and would like to share with the group. It is

great that many rosaceans find relief with the Vita-Oil and ZincO

combination. However, every individual is unique and one has to adapt

regimens to his/her own unique situation. For example, some of you have oily

skin; some have dry skin; some with allergies; others with seborrheic

dermatitis; some in advanced stage; others in early stage. Some of you live

in humid regions; some in dry areas. Some on various systemic rx's; some

only on topicals etc. etc.

My conclusion at this time is that the right skin care products are

important adjuncts to your medical treatments. They are not substitutes to

the medical rx's. It is a good idea for you to inform your dermatologists

what you have added to your routine. Don't keep your doctors in the dark.

Also, it is important for those with dry skin to moisturize first, before

using the ZincO. Although ZincO is an effective barrier for rosaceans, it

may not be an adequate moisturizer for someone with dry skin. Adequate

moisturization, such as Vita-oil and others, is important to allow someone

with very dry, easily irritated skin to continuously and effectively benefit

from the ZincO. On the other hand, for someone with oily skin, living in

humid region, ZincO may be enough as both moisturizer and protective

barrier. The bottom line is to analyze your skin and to taylor your regimen

to it.

Lastly, I welcome questions from the group. However, please forgive me if it

takes me a week or so to answer. The amount of mail can be daunting and time

is limited. I also take a break sometimes - to have a life!
