Guest guest
Marrianne: Wanted to add a few things: WHen I have an attack, sometimes there is intense tachycardia - sometimes there is no tachycardia to it at all, just feels like I am absolutely going to die and cna't hardly move. Either way, there are three things that help me quite a bit when I go into attack: 1) ACTIVATED CHARCOAL. It is used for poisoning and can absorb all sorts of crap....BInds with Hg too. I use a couple of teaspoons in water or other liquid. I get it in bulk from Starwest Botanicals. Otherwise it gets pretty pricey. 2) BAKING SODA in water...neutralizes acidic condition which is usually present in allergic situation. ALKAZELTZER GOLD might be even better if you can fid it. 3) Icing my head. I have spent countless nights sleeping (or trying to) with an ice pack on my head as most of my attacks (but certainly not all) happen at night when the body is detoxing. Hope these things might help him if it gets real bad... ~inga Yeah...I feel like my heart is TOTALLY shot too. I started having a pinch of pain too and stopped that cold by drinking water with cayenne red pepper in it every morning and taking ground hawthorne in capsules. The book LEFT FOR DEAD talks about this in detail. I can not take the cayenne in capsules very well, but in water (how about V-8 juice?) I have gotten used to it and it does not bother me. ..on 11/14/04 5:38 PM, nne Skoog at marianne@... wrote: Let me know what you figure out. My husband has high mercury, and low thyroid in the form of hashi's, and he gets tachacardia Often after we eat out. We can not figure out the cause. He cut his thyroid, thinking that was it, and became much more hypo. That clearlywas not the answer. He thinks he has heart problems, so he is reluctant to up the armour too quickly. I think he needs more armour, and he thinks he needs less. nne _____ From: Ingrid Mager Sent: Sunday, November 14, 2004 8:28 PM To: NaturalThyroidHormones Subject: Re: !!HELP!! SOrry to bother you all, but I have so many problmes and health issues with this mercury toxicity, that I amhaving a hard time figuring things out. Is there any way I can tell for sure if my most recent attacks are from too much thyroid or not? They are a little different than what I have had in the past (from mercury)and are mostly just tachycardia in the middle of the night without the seizure like symptoms where I feel like I am gong to die that I have had before. I am trying to determine whether it is from mercury, the new enzymes I am taking, food allergies, adrenals, licorice root which I just started, thyroid, food poisoning or what. I have many of the symptoms of the adrenals but definitlely not a few of them. My dowser checked this morning and the answers he came up that caused my attack last night was the enzymes, mercury, too much thyroid and food allergy...but those answers are not always totally accurate...a good guide, but not foolproof. For instance, few days ago he dowsed that I need 4 grains of thyroid. This morning he dowsed that I need 3.........but that could be just for today as the quesitons relate to the present moment... so it is real hard to tell, even though he is an extraordinary dowser! I have had lots of real intense events at night. Last night was real bad and worse than the night before. I have rcently upped from 3 grains to 3 3/4 grains over a period of about 2 weeks and I basically feel no different. My temps are up from the 96-97 range from last week and over the last few days are around 97.6-7 (although yesterday and the day before it hit 98.6 at two differnt times, but I think that has generally been shortly after I had eaten someting, and eating is often rough on me.) My pulse has been hovering around 68-72 at rest. SHould I go ahead and try some cortef to see how I respond? Iam a little afraid of just trying things these days as I am sooooo sensitive. Any input appreciated. ~Inga I am very ill with mercury in general and it is often real hard to tell just what is gong on. SHould I just skip thyrolid for a couple of days, are drastically reduce the amount? Any input very welcome.....solving my problems is like a rubics cube. ~inga on 11/14/04 7:48 AM, JAMY at jamyrogers@... wrote: I always have my lab work done a week or more before I go in. Guest guest
Thank you so much INga. I do know all about Andy Cutler as we have chelated my son. My husband can't chelate since he has amalgams in. I started getting my amalgams out last year, and had to quit due to developing fibromyalgia and CFS. Then I learned about the thyroid connection, and I have spent 8 months learning all about this and getting the whole family treated with armour. nne _____ From: Ingrid Mager Sent: Monday, November 15, 2004 2:02 AM To: NaturalThyroidHormones Subject: Re: !!HELP!!/husband Marrianne: Wanted to add a few things:
Guest guest
Marrianne, Hope he is able to get his amalgams out soon. Why did you have to quit: " due to developing fibromyalgia and CFS. " It saved my life when i had mine out 13 years ago. However, all I did was a bunch of EDTA iv's (popular at the time) and 13 years later I am sicker than before. ALso only got on thyroid about 3 years ago, and apparently not enough and I am upping it now. Well...I AM getting better now, but I also got some new environmental exposure to mercury last year, and that coupled with the stress and loss almost killed me over this last year. " Then I learned about the thyroid connection, and I have spent 8 months learning all about this and getting the whole family treated with armour. " So is the armour helping you guys with mercury then? Is there something about a " thyroid connection " that I am not aware of? Funny, that you have not figured out what bothers him at restaurants then... one thing I can think of is that salad bars and such often use a lot of sulfites as a preservative. I know I can not eat most of them any more...(Get real sick at Sizzler's for instance) Can't think of what other mystery items there are off hand....What type of restaurants does he get sick at? Was ityou that I sent the info to about " Houston Nutraceutical Enzymes " ? They are supposed to help the food reaction situation a lot. I am jsut starting them... ~Inga on 11/15/04 4:19 AM, nne Skoog at marianne@... wrote: Thank you so much INga. I do know all about Andy Cutler as we have chelated my son.
