if you gained... what? I hope you gained! Some people will still lose when

they cheat and then they start cheating more because they received the

positive reinforcement. But eventually the losing will stop when you cheat

and it gets harder and harder to stick to plan.

Don't be mad at yourself. You are human. The important thing is what you

do next. Don't eat more carby stuff because you 'already ruined the day'.

Right now start back eating low carb. Get right back on induction with the

next thing that crosses your lips. Keep this an isolated incident instead

of turning it into a binge.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

The next important thing is to try and figure out just why you cheated and

to get a strategy in place for the next time you are feeling that way.

Learn from your mistakes and they have value :-)

Kirstie,

Just because Terry is gone doesn't mean you can start talking about me like

this! LOL

Kirstie, that's SOOOOOO accurate!

Truth be told, the best thing the scale does is punish me for a cheat. I'm

not kidding, a few minor off-plan cheats and I will gain 3-5 pounds over

night... and it takes me about a week to undo the damage (even with chugging

extra water and increasing my exercise). But guess what? That's a good thing

because if I did NOT gain from a cheat, I'd do it more often and that's NOT

a good thing to do.

So, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad the scale reflects the damage.
