I was listening to a doctor on the TV who said that the vaccine that the will

be used for the initial vaccinations is the old live virus formula. It was fine

back when everyone was being vaccinated because a newly vaccinated child would

be going home to a family that had already been vaccinated and had immunity. Now

if only some are vaccinated those that are can infect those who have not been as

the material sluffs off the vaccination site. He said that doctors are trying

to come up with an improved serum before the general public starts seeking large

scale inoculation.

It seems to me that if this is the case, we could be starting our own

epidemic. How many kids do you think will keep their hands off the inoculation

site? It isn't just those that develop symptoms from the vaccine that we need

to be concerned about. That child in the classroom or the mother at the grocery

could be a potential carrier during the time between the inoculation and the

healing of the sore.

I hope he was wrong and that I am panicking over nothing but there seems to be

a potential for a home grown disaster here.

I'd like to add a few comments about this latest small pox vaccine dialogue

.. Personally there has not been any small pox heren USA since the 1940's and

since then only one case I believe it was in Africa . Unless you are in a highly

developed area and/or in the medical profession to risk this vaccination is

insane in my opinion. You can DIE from this vaccine its rare but is possible and

1000 out of about million or less do suffer severe reactions . You have to

evaluate the risk and possibility of exposure versus the side effects. Most of

us if we did see chemical war fare would if able to get the vaccine during

exposure to small pox and reduce the effects of the disease . I don't see why

all the hysteria over this it is just ridiculous in my opinion .If we use the

vaccine wisely IF it becomes evident that small pox is present we will not see a

shortage and can contain the outbreaks . I will not get vaccinated because

with auto immune problems our risk is increased for side effects I will I have

my children get vaccinated at this time . Well that's my opinion Warm
